Dollar General proposal to build in Lawrence

A site plan for a proposed 9278 sq ft building was submitted to the Planning Commission on 04/20/15. The site will be located at the south end of 418 S. Paw Paw (the field across the street from church). The Planning Commission approved the site plan and to re-zone the site to accommodate the request.  There will be a zoning variance request (ZBA) to reduce the required parking places from 49 to 30, and to allow the loading zone for the building at the side rather the back of the building.
